Counseling with Kaylen

I primarily work with women and youth who are dealing with experiences of trauma, mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, or mood swings, the effects of chronic health conditions, and/or are navigating the impact of these struggles on their faith journey. I offer Christian counseling from a Biblically based perspective and work with people at various places in their spiritual journey. I utilize trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches with a focus on resilience. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy through the EMDR Institute. I offer a Christian, faith integrated EMDR therapy approach for those who would like to integrate their faith and a Biblical worldview into treatment.
